Birthday weekends are always fun. My mom's birthday was last week and since it fell in the middle of a busy week, the celebration carried into this weekend. I love that birthdays are a day to make special people in your life feel extra special. My mom is the most amazing woman I know and I can't imagine life without her. Words cannot express my gratitude for her and everything she has done for me and taught me. I am beyond blessed to have such a beautiful, Godly role model and mom.
She is so incredibly selfless and always puts others before herself, so it was fun to celebrate her and shower her with surprises.
Needless to say, this weekend consisted of pretty flowers, lots of frozen yogurt, chocolate cake, warm and sunny weather, mexican food, endless amounts of laughter, and time with family. I love making memories with the people I love.
