Today is a different kind of Monday. It's 10 am sharp and I'm still in bed. To be honest, I plan on staying in this warm, fluffy blanket for as long as I can. Normally, I'm not the kind of person who likes sleeping in. But it was a long week of school {I've noticed teachers like to cram in as much as they can before break.} and I have few plans on my schedule today to worry about. It's a rare occurrence, but I'm really enjoying just lying here, typing away while listening to pretty music. Christmas break, I love you.
I don't have too many plans for Christmas break, but that makes me excited. I'm ready for a solid two weeks to just relax, catch up, and celebrate the birth of my Savior. It's going to be good. Really good.
The weather has been a bit confused as to what season it really is here, but I'm happy that the mornings and nights have finally cooled down and dropped into the 30's and 40's. There's just something about curling up by the Christmas tree at night watching holiday movies wrapped in blankets and warm pajamas.
It's 10:20 now and I'm still lying here, listening to music and thinking about Christmas. But I'm also thinking about a cup of my favorite holiday peppermint candy cane tea. We'll see if a warm cup of yummy tea and some breakfast is enough to drag me out of bed. I think it just might be.
Have an extraordinarily happy Monday. I know I will.
